Abstract

This study aims to test empirically the factors that affect the company's profitability. This study was tested with three independent variables, namely Asset Structure, Liquidity, and Leverage. The object of this research is the Food and Beverage Sub-Sector Manufacturing Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Using a purposive sampling technique, the authors chose 14 Manufacturing Companies in the Food and Beverage Sub-Sector as a sample. This study uses panel data analysis obtained from the financial statements of the study period for 4 years. The results of this study were collected through secondary data from www.idx.co.id and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study found that the asset structure and leverage did not have a significant effect on the company's profitability in the food and beverage sub-sector manufacturing companies. Meanwhile, liquidity has a significant effect on company profitability in manufacturing companies in the food and beverage sub-sector. As for the test results simultaneously found that all variables have a significant effect.
